Responsibility
- Lead the design and specification of instrumentation systems for wastewater treatment facilities, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project requirements.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to procure high-quality instrumentation equipment, including sensors, transmitters, and control valves.
- Oversee Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) to verify equipment performance and functionality.
- Develop and implement testing protocols for instrumentation systems, including calibration, loop checks, and functional testing.
- Collaborate with process engineers to integrate instrumentation systems with process control and automation systems.
- Provide technical support during construction, installation, and commissioning phases to ensure smooth project execution.
- Prepare and review technical documentation, including design drawings, specifications, and operation manuals.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in instrumentation engineering, preferably in EPC projects or wastewater treatment.
- Proficiency in instrumentation design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SmartPlant Instrumentation, or equivalent).
- Strong knowledge of industry standards (e.g., ISA, IEC, API) and regulatory requirements for instrumentation systems.
- Experience with PLC/DCS systems and process control technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex instrumentation issues.
- Strong communication and coordination skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and vendors.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
