Responsibility
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on heavy equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues in heavy machinery.
- Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize equipment downtime and extend the lifespan of machinery.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed.
- Collaborate with the service team to ensure timely completion of repair and maintenance tasks.
- Order and manage inventory of spare parts and supplies.
- Provide technical support and training to junior mechanics and other team members.
- Adhere to safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems in heavy machinery.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver's license and ability to operate heavy equipment.
- Certification in heavy equipment repair is a plus.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
