Responsibility
- Lead the structural design and analysis of residential, commercial, and industrial projects from concept to completion, ensuring compliance with local and international standards (e.g., SNI, Eurocode, ACI).
- Develop detailed structural drawings, calculations, and specifications using software such as ETABS, SAP2000, AutoCAD, or Revit.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and project managers to optimize designs for cost, constructability, and sustainability.
- Conduct site inspections and structural assessments to verify construction quality and address on-site challenges.
- Prepare and review technical reports, feasibility studies, and risk assessments for client presentations and regulatory submissions.
- Ensure all designs adhere to Indonesian building codes (e.g., SNI 1726:2019 for seismic design) and project-specific requirements.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to support team development.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in structural engineering.
Qualifications
- Bachelorās or Masterās degree in Civil/Structural Engineering from an accredited university.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in structural design for residential, commercial, or industrial projects.
- Proficiency in structural analysis software (ETABS, SAP2000, STAAD.Pro) and drafting tools (AutoCAD, Revit).
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian building codes (e.g., SNI, PUPR regulations) and international standards (e.g., Eurocode, ACI, ASCE).
- Experience with seismic design, foundation systems, and reinforced concrete/steel structures.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with a focus on safety and sustainability.
- Strong communication skills in English; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or willingness to obtain certification in Indonesia is highly desirable.
