Responsibility
- Lead and oversee the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from concept to commercialization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, production, marketing) to align R&D initiatives with business goals.
- Drive innovation by identifying emerging trends, technologies, and materials to enhance product performance and sustainability.
- Develop and implement R&D strategies that improve manufacturing processes, reduce costs, and increase efficiency.
- Manage and mentor a team of researchers, engineers, and technicians to foster a culture of creativity and excellence.
- Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and prototype testing to validate new product ideas.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and quality control protocols.
- Present research findings and project updates to senior leadership and stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. A PhD is a plus.
- Minimum 8-10 years of experience in R&D, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within the manufacturing sector.
- Proven track record of successfully developing and launching new products in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong technical knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials science, and product design.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and deliver results under tight deadlines.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency in R&D software tools (e.g., CAD, simulation software, data analysis tools).
- Fluent in English; additional proficiency in Indonesian is advantageous.
