Responsibility
- Assist in the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP and local regulations.
- Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger maintenance, and bank reconciliations.
- Ensure timely and accurate tax filings, compliance with statutory requirements, and internal audit readiness.
- Lead budgeting and forecasting processes, providing variance analysis and actionable insights to senior management.
- Supervise and mentor accounting staff, fostering a culture of accuracy, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
- Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and minimize financial risks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes and enhance operational workflows.
- Support the Accounting Manager in strategic financial planning and cost optimization initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Proven expertise in financial reporting, tax compliance, and internal controls within the retail or FMCG industry.
- Strong proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail.
- In-depth knowledge of Indonesian accounting standards (PSAK) and tax regulations; familiarity with Philippine GAAP is a bonus.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
