Responsibility
- Assemble mechanical and electrical components with precision in a cleanroom environment, following detailed technical specifications and blueprints.
- Perform functional testing and quality inspections on assembled components to ensure compliance with industry standards and performance requirements.
- Operate and maintain specialized assembly tools, equipment, and machinery, including torque drivers, soldering stations, and calibration devices.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to troubleshoot assembly issues, optimize processes, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Adhere to strict cleanroom protocols, including proper gowning procedures, contamination control, and safety guidelines to maintain a sterile work environment.
- Document assembly processes, test results, and deviations in accordance with company quality management systems (e.g., ISO standards).
- Support inventory management by tracking component usage, reporting shortages, and assisting with material handling as needed.
- Participate in training programs and upskill initiatives to stay updated on emerging assembly technologies and best practices.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in mechanical or electrical assembly, preferably in a cleanroom or controlled manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and assembly instructions.
- Hands-on experience with assembly tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, crimping tools, soldering irons, and torque wrenches.
- Basic understanding of electrical circuits, wiring, and component integration (e.g., sensors, connectors, PCBs).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks with accuracy and consistency.
- Familiarity with quality control processes, including visual inspections, functional testing, and defect reporting.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment while maintaining focus on individual tasks and deadlines.
- Certification or training in cleanroom protocols, ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) control, or lean manufacturing is a plus.
