Responsibility
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with suppliers, shippers, and customs brokers to ensure smooth import operations.
- Coordinate and track shipments from origin to destination, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with regulations.
- Prepare and verify import documentation, including invoices, packing lists, and customs declarations.
- Monitor inventory levels and liaise with warehouse teams to optimize storage and distribution.
- Resolve any logistics-related issues, such as delays or discrepancies, in a timely and efficient manner.
- Analyze logistics data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for cost savings.
- Ensure compliance with local and international trade laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Collaborate with internal teams to forecast demand and plan procurement strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in logistics, importation, or supply chain management.
- Strong knowledge of import regulations, customs procedures, and international shipping practices.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills to manage supplier and stakeholder relationships.
- Proficient in using logistics software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
