Responsibility
- Assemble mechanical and electrical components according to detailed technical drawings and work instructions.
- Operate production machinery and hand tools to complete assembly tasks within specified timelines.
- Perform quality inspections on finished products to ensure adherence to production standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to strict 5S and safety protocols.
- Troubleshoot basic assembly issues and escalate complex technical problems to the supervisor.
- Document production output and report any material discrepancies or equipment malfunctions.
- Participate in regular team briefings and training sessions to improve operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Minimum Nitec/Higher Nitec or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment is highly preferred.
- Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical assembly manuals.
- Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments and standard assembly tools.
- Strong physical stamina to handle manual tasks and standing shifts.
- Flexibility to work in rotating shifts, including night shifts if required.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-based setting.
- Strict adherence to workplace safety regulations (WSH).
