Responsibility
- Assemble mechanical components according to technical drawings, blueprints, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Perform routine inspections and quality checks on assembled parts to ensure compliance with company quality standards.
- Maintain production equipment and tools to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to identify opportunities for process improvements and increased efficiency.
- Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations within the manufacturing floor.
- Maintain accurate production records, logs, and inventory documentation.
- Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues as they arise during the assembly process.
- Participate in daily operational briefings to align on production targets and workflow priorities.
Qualifications
- Minimum SPM, Vocational Certificate, or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
- Proven work experience as an Assembly Technician or in a similar manufacturing role is highly preferred.
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to read and interpret schematics and assembly instructions.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of manual dexterity.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
- Basic understanding of workplace safety practices and 5S methodology.
- Good communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia or English.
- Must be willing to work in Simpang Ampat, Penang.
