Responsibility
- Develop and execute medical strategies for new product launches across ASEA markets.
- Lead cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between medical, regulatory, and commercial objectives.
- Engage with key opinion leaders, healthcare professionals, and regulatory bodies to drive market access.
- Oversee medical affairs activities, including advisory boards, medical education, and clinical data dissemination.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to inform strategy.
- Ensure compliance with local and international medical and ethical standards.
- Collaborate with global teams to adapt and implement best practices in the ASEA region.
- Mentor and develop medical affairs teams to foster a culture of excellence and innovation.
Qualifications
- Medical degree (MD, MBBS, or equivalent) with a strong background in medical affairs or clinical development.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record in geo-expansion strategies within the ASEA region.
- Deep understanding of regulatory requirements and market access dynamics in Southeast Asia.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business goals into actionable medical plans.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in additional ASEA languages is a plus.
- Willingness to travel across the ASEA region as needed.
