Responsibility
- Prepare and bake artisan pizzas to order, ensuring consistency in taste, texture, and presentation.
- Follow standardized recipes and portion controls to maintain quality and minimize waste.
- Monitor and manage pizza oven temperatures and cooking times for optimal results.
- Assist in inventory management, including tracking ingredients and supplies, and report shortages to the kitchen manager.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation in compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely order fulfillment during peak hours.
- Contribute creative ideas for new pizza variations or seasonal specials.
- Provide exceptional service by engaging with guests and addressing any special requests or dietary restrictions.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Pizza Maker or in a similar role within a high-volume kitchen or pizzeria.
- Deep knowledge of pizza dough preparation, fermentation, and baking techniques.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong understanding of food safety, sanitation, and HACCP principles.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills to collaborate with kitchen and front-of-house staff.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 kg (44 lbs).
- Passion for culinary arts and a commitment to delivering high-quality products.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Indonesian (Bahasa) is a plus.
