Responsibility
- Prepare and bake a variety of bread, pastries, and desserts following traditional and modern recipes.
- Measure and mix ingredients according to established formulas and procedures.
- Operate and maintain baking equipment, ensuring cleanliness and safety standards are met.
- Monitor baking times and temperatures to achieve consistent quality and texture.
- Decorate and finish baked goods to meet presentation standards.
- Assist in inventory management, including ordering supplies and rotating stock.
- Follow food safety and hygiene regulations at all times.
- Collaborate with the team to develop new recipes and seasonal specialties.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in baking or a culinary background is a plus, but not required.
- Willingness to undergo a 3-month training program to master baking techniques.
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for creating high-quality baked goods.
- Ability to work early mornings and stand for extended periods.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Creative mindset with an interest in experimenting with new flavors and techniques.
- Fluency in English or Indonesian is preferred.
