Responsibility
- Oversee daily retail operations across multiple store locations within the North Region.
- Perform comprehensive eye examinations and provide professional vision care advice to customers.
- Drive store performance by mentoring staff, setting sales goals, and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Ensure compliance with company clinical standards and maintain high-quality service delivery.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase customer footfall and product conversion rates.
- Manage inventory levels and ensure product displays meet corporate merchandising standards.
- Resolve customer escalations with a professional and solution-oriented approach.
Qualifications
- Possess a valid professional qualification in Optometry or Dispensing Optics.
- Registered with the Malaysian Optical Council (MOC).
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in an optical retail environment, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role.
- Strong understanding of retail management, sales techniques, and operational workflows.
- Excellent communication skills in English, Malay, or Chinese (to communicate with diverse customer segments).
- Willingness to travel frequently across the North Region (Penang, Kedah, Perlis).
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a retail healthcare setting.
