Responsibility
- Create detailed architectural and structural drawings using AutoCAD, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project specifications.
- Interpret and analyze as-built plans, blueprints, and design sketches to produce precise technical documentation.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to refine designs and resolve technical challenges.
- Prepare and revise drawings for construction, permitting, and client presentations, maintaining consistency with project standards.
- Ensure all drawings comply with local building codes, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Manage and organize digital files, including layers, blocks, and templates, to streamline workflow efficiency.
- Assist in site visits or virtual inspections to verify dimensions and document existing conditions when required.
- Stay updated on the latest AutoCAD features, drafting techniques, and industry trends to enhance productivity.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Architectural Drafter or similar role, with a strong portfolio of AutoCAD projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D and 3D) and familiarity with other drafting software (e.g., Revit, SketchUp) is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural plans, including as-built documentation.
- Strong attention to detail and precision in creating technical drawings and documentation.
- Knowledge of building codes, construction methods, and materials used in architectural projects.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote or hybrid setting.
- Diploma or degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory for experienced candidates.
