Responsibility
- Monitor and maintain the performance, availability, and security of critical applications.
- Investigate and resolve technical issues reported by users or identified through system monitoring.
- Collaborate with development teams to implement software updates, patches, and enhancements.
- Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and troubleshooting guides.
- Conduct regular system audits to identify potential risks and recommend improvements.
- Provide technical support and training to end-users and internal teams.
- Participate in on-call rotations to ensure 24/7 system availability.
- Assist in the planning and execution of disaster recovery and business continuity procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in application support, system administration, or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of operating systems (Windows/Linux) and networking principles.
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with database management systems (e.g., SQL, Oracle) and query optimization.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Certifications in ITIL, Microsoft, or other relevant technologies are a plus.
