Responsibility
- Provide 24/7 follow-the-sun support for enterprise applications, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues reported by end-users, including software bugs, configuration errors, and system integrations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, IT operations, and business stakeholders, to implement application updates and enhancements.
- Monitor application performance and proactively identify potential issues before they impact business operations.
- Document technical processes, troubleshooting steps, and solutions to build a comprehensive knowledge base.
- Assist in the deployment, configuration, and testing of new applications and system upgrades.
- Provide training and guidance to end-users on application functionalities and best practices.
- Participate in on-call rotations to ensure continuous support coverage across different time zones.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in application support, IT operations, or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of troubleshooting techniques for enterprise applications, databases, and web services.
- Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, JIRA) and IT service management frameworks (ITIL).
- Familiarity with SQL, scripting languages (Python, PowerShell), and API integrations.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a global, remote team environment.
- Certifications in IT support, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), or relevant technologies are a plus.
