Responsibility
- Collaborate with customers to understand their cutting tool requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Work closely with suppliers to identify and source the most suitable cutting tool products for client needs.
- Develop and present technical proposals, including cost-benefit analyses and performance metrics, to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Provide on-site and remote technical support to ensure optimal tool performance and customer satisfaction.
- Conduct training sessions for clients and sales teams on the features, benefits, and applications of cutting tools.
- Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend innovative solutions that enhance client competitiveness.
- Maintain accurate documentation of customer interactions, tool specifications, and project outcomes.
- Participate in trade shows, conferences, and networking events to promote Vallenâs products and services.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in application engineering, tooling, or a related technical role.
- Strong knowledge of cutting tools, machining processes, and manufacturing technologies.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and technical documentation tools.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams, including sales, R&D, and production.
- Problem-solving mindset with a focus on delivering customer-centric solutions.
- Fluency in English; additional languages (e.g., Bahasa Indonesia) are a plus.
