Are you an experienced HR Operations professional with a passion for driving excellence within a Shared Services environment? CBRE, the global leader in commercial real estate services, is seeking a high-caliber APAC SSC HR - Operations Lead to join our dynamic team in Kuala Lumpur.

In this critical role, you will be the driving force behind our regional HR service delivery. You will oversee daily operations, streamline processes, and ensure that our HR Shared Services center delivers world-class support to our diverse workforce across the APAC region. Responsibility

  • Manage the daily operations of the HR Shared Services center, ensuring service levels (SLAs) are met or exceeded across the APAC region.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of HR specialists, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and service excellence.
  • Oversee end-to-end HR operational processes, including payroll administration, employee lifecycle management, and benefits administration.
  • Act as the primary point of escalation for complex HR operational issues, providing timely resolutions and ensuring consistent policy application.
  • Drive the implementation of process improvement initiatives and automation projects to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Partner with HR Business Partners and regional stakeholders to ensure alignment on operational strategy and organizational goals.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics, presenting insights to senior leadership.
  • Ensure full compliance with local labor laws, data privacy regulations, and corporate governance standards across multiple jurisdictions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., SHRM, HRCI) is a plus.
  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience in HR Operations or Shared Services, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership or managerial capacity.
  • Proven expertise in managing multi-country HR operations within the APAC region.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable operational strategies.
  • Expertise in HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors) and case management software.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, complex corporate environment while maintaining high standards of accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Fluency in English is required; proficiency in additional APAC languages is highly regarded.
