Responsibility
- Develop and implement full-custom layouts for analog and mixed-signal circuits, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including circuit designers and verification engineers, to meet project specifications and timelines.
- Perform layout verification and design rule checks (DRC) to ensure compliance with manufacturing standards.
- Optimize layout designs for power, area, and performance, leveraging industry-best practices.
- Create and maintain documentation for layout designs, including schematics, floor plans, and verification reports.
- Troubleshoot and resolve layout-related issues, providing technical support to the design team.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in analog layout techniques and tools.
- Participate in design reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
- Proven experience in analog/mixed-signal layout design, preferably in the semiconductor industry.
- Proficiency in industry-standard layout tools such as Cadence Virtuoso, Mentor Graphics, or Synopsys.
- Strong understanding of analog circuit design principles and semiconductor manufacturing processes.
- Experience with design rule checks (DRC), layout vs. schematic (LVS), and extraction (RCX) tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate technical concepts clearly.
- Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Perl) for automation is a plus.
