Responsibility
- Develop detailed shop drawings for aluminum and metal facade systems based on architectural and structural plans.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to clarify design intent and resolve discrepancies.
- Ensure all drawings comply with local building codes, industry standards (e.g., ASTM, AAMA), and project specifications.
- Utilize CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, or SolidWorks) to create 2D and 3D models with high accuracy.
- Review and incorporate fabrication constraints to optimize material usage and reduce waste.
- Prepare bill of materials (BOM) and cutting lists for procurement and production teams.
- Conduct quality checks on drawings to ensure dimensional accuracy and alignment with structural requirements.
- Provide technical support during the fabrication and installation phases, addressing any on-site adjustments.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Architectural Drafting, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience as a Facade Draftsperson or in metalworks/aluminum fabrication drafting.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or SolidWorks; experience with BIM (Building Information Modeling) is a plus.
- Strong understanding of aluminum extrusion profiles, glass systems, and structural connections.
- Familiarity with industry standards (e.g., ASTM, AAMA, or local Indonesian regulations).
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to interpret complex architectural/structural drawings.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to liaise with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
