Responsibility
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections, and repairs on aircraft engines and APUs in compliance with FAA, EASA, and OEM standards.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
- Document all maintenance activities, including work orders, logbook entries, and technical reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to implement upgrades, modifications, and performance enhancements.
- Conduct functional tests and post-maintenance checks to verify system integrity and operational readiness.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols, including PPE usage, hazard identification, and workplace cleanliness.
- Maintain inventory of tools, equipment, and spare parts, and request replacements as needed.
- Stay updated on the latest technical bulletins, service letters, and industry best practices.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelorâs degree in Aeronautical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. FAA/EASA certification is a plus.
- Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience in aircraft engine maintenance, preferably with Pratt & Whitney or similar OEMs.
- Strong knowledge of turbofan engines, APUs, and aviation hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
- Experience with precision measurement tools, diagnostic equipment, and non-destructive testing (NDT) methods.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal); knowledge of Indonesian is advantageous.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required by operational needs.
