Responsibility
- Oversee daily air cargo operations, ensuring compliance with international and local regulations.
- Coordinate with airlines, ground handlers, and customs officials to facilitate smooth cargo movement.
- Monitor and optimize cargo loading/unloading processes to minimize delays and maximize efficiency.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve operational workflows and reduce costs.
- Lead and mentor a team of logistics personnel, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
- Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventories, and operational reports.
- Resolve operational challenges and escalations in real-time to ensure on-time deliveries.
- Collaborate with senior management to align cargo operations with business objectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in air cargo operations or logistics management.
- Strong knowledge of international cargo regulations, customs procedures, and aviation security protocols.
- Proven leadership skills with experience managing teams in a high-pressure environment.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills to liaise with stakeholders effectively.
- Proficiency in logistics software and ERP systems for cargo tracking and reporting.
