This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of digital health in one of Asia’s most advanced healthcare ecosystems.
In this high-impact role, you will spearhead the implementation, optimization, and scaling of AI-powered tools that enhance clinical workflows, improve patient outcomes, and drive operational efficiency. Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including clinicians, data scientists, and IT specialists—to deploy innovative technologies that redefine healthcare delivery.
As part of a 2-year contract, you’ll play a pivotal role in aligning AI strategies with NUHS’s vision of a smarter, more connected healthcare system. If you’re passionate about leveraging technology to solve real-world challenges, this is your chance to make a lasting impact.
Responsibility

- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with clinicians, IT teams, and external vendors to define requirements, prioritize features, and ensure seamless integration.
- AI Model Deployment: Manage the deployment, monitoring, and optimization of AI models to enhance diagnostic accuracy and clinical decision-making.
- Change Management: Drive adoption of new technologies through training, documentation, and user feedback loops.
- Performance Metrics: Develop KPIs to measure the impact of AI solutions on patient care, operational efficiency, and cost savings.
- Compliance & Security: Ensure all AI systems adhere to healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA, PDPA) and data privacy standards.
- Innovation & Scalability: Identify opportunities to expand AI applications across NUHS’s network of hospitals and clinics.
- Risk Mitigation: Proactively address technical and ethical challenges in AI deployment, including bias, transparency, and reliability.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Healthcare Informatics, Data Science, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in AI/ML are a plus.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in project management, with at least 2 years in healthcare IT or AI operations. Experience with CDSS is highly desirable.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch), data analytics tools, and healthcare IT systems (EHR, HL7, FHIR).
- Leadership: Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and deliver complex projects on time and within budget.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with healthcare compliance standards (HIPAA, GDPR, PDPA) and ethical AI principles.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical mindset with a track record of resolving technical and operational challenges in AI deployments.
- Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving healthcare environment with a focus on continuous improvement.
