Responsibility
- Oversee the design, deployment, and maintenance of IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, virtualization, and cloud services.
- Ensure high availability and performance of network systems, including LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless networks.
- Implement and enforce cybersecurity best practices, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention, and endpoint security.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and perform root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate IT solutions that support clinical and administrative workflows.
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans to minimize downtime.
- Manage vendor relationships for hardware, software, and service providers to ensure cost-effective and reliable solutions.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend innovations to enhance infrastructure efficiency and security.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Masterâs degree is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure and network operations, preferably in the healthcare sector.
- Proven expertise in network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN) and enterprise-grade networking hardware (Cisco, Juniper, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of server administration (Windows/Linux), virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V), and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
- Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, ITIL, or CompTIA Security+ are highly desirable.
- Experience with healthcare IT compliance standards (HIPAA, GDPR, or local regulations) is a significant advantage.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills with the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication and leadership skills to mentor junior staff and collaborate with stakeholders.
