Responsibility
- Lead the technical development of new eyewear and footwear products from concept to production.
- Collaborate with design, engineering, and manufacturing teams to ensure product feasibility and quality.
- Conduct thorough research and analysis to identify market trends, materials, and technologies.
- Develop and maintain detailed product specifications, technical drawings, and prototypes.
- Oversee testing and validation processes to ensure products meet performance and safety standards.
- Work closely with suppliers and manufacturers to optimize production processes and reduce costs.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
- Stay updated with industry advancements and integrate innovative solutions into product development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Product Design, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical product development, preferably in eyewear or footwear.
- Strong knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and product testing methodologies.
- Proficiency in CAD software and other design tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and project management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Passion for outdoor activities and lifestyle products is a plus.
