Responsibility
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services for a global crypto payments platform using Java/Spring Boot.
- Integrate AI/ML models into backend systems to enhance automation, fraud detection, and transaction processing.
- Collaborate with frontend teams to build full-stack features that deliver seamless user experiences.
- Optimize system performance, ensuring low-latency, high-availability for global users.
- Implement secure API endpoints and microservices for crypto transaction processing.
- Leverage AI-powered tools (sponsored by HashWhale) to streamline development, testing, and deployment.
- Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and agile sprints to drive continuous improvement.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in a distributed, cloud-native environment.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Java backend development (Spring Boot, Hibernate, etc.).
- Proven expertise in building RESTful APIs, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with blockchain/crypto concepts (e.g., smart contracts, wallets, or DeFi) is a strong plus.
- Hands-on experience with AI/ML integration (e.g., LLMs, predictive models) in production systems.
- Proficiency in English (required); Chinese fluency is highly advantageous.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a remote setting.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
