Responsibility
- Develop and implement AI data safety frameworks to ensure compliance with ethical guidelines and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct bias audits and fairness assessments on AI models to mitigate discriminatory outcomes.
- Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to integrate safety-by-design principles into AI/ML pipelines.
- Monitor and evaluate AI system performance, identifying risks such as data drift, adversarial attacks, or unintended behaviors.
- Create and maintain documentation for AI safety protocols, incident response plans, and risk assessments.
- Stay abreast of emerging AI governance standards (e.g., EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF) and industry best practices.
- Train and mentor teams on responsible AI development, including data privacy and security considerations.
- Liaise with legal and compliance teams to align AI initiatives with organizational and regional policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in AI/ML development, data governance, or AI safety research.
- Proven expertise in ethical AI frameworks, bias detection, and model interpretability techniques.
- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar tools for AI model evaluation.
- Familiarity with data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, PDPA) and AI ethics guidelines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on risk mitigation.
- Excellent communication skills to articulate complex AI safety concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience working in agile or cross-functional teams is a plus.
