Responsibility
- Perform routine inspections, diagnostics, and preventive maintenance on John Deere agricultural equipment.
- Repair and replace faulty components, including engines, hydraulics, transmissions, and electrical systems.
- Troubleshoot complex mechanical, hydraulic, and electronic issues using diagnostic tools.
- Maintain accurate service records and documentation for all repairs and maintenance activities.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of service requests.
- Provide technical guidance and training to junior mechanics when needed.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and industry standards during repairs and maintenance.
- Stay updated on the latest John Deere technologies and service bulletins.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a mechanic, preferably with agricultural or heavy machinery.
- Certification or training in John Deere equipment maintenance is a strong plus.
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools and software for equipment troubleshooting.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Physical ability to lift heavy components and work in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to client sites as needed.
