Responsibility
- Perform routine inspections, diagnostics, and maintenance on John Deere agricultural equipment to ensure operational efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems in tractors, harvesters, and other farming machinery.
- Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of equipment.
- Document all service and repair work accurately in maintenance logs and digital systems.
- Collaborate with the team to order and manage spare parts inventory for timely repairs.
- Provide technical guidance and training to junior mechanics and farm operators on equipment usage and basic troubleshooting.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and industry standards during all repair and maintenance activities.
- Stay updated with the latest John Deere technologies and service bulletins to maintain expertise.
Qualifications
- Proven experience (2+ years) as a mechanic, preferably with John Deere or similar agricultural equipment.
- Technical certification in mechanical engineering, heavy equipment repair, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems, diesel engines, and electrical components in farming machinery.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in high-pressure situations.
- Physical stamina to work in outdoor environments and handle heavy equipment.
- Basic proficiency in English or Indonesian for communication with team members and clients.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to client sites across Bali as needed.
