Responsibility
- Perform routine inspections, diagnostics, and preventive maintenance on John Deere agricultural equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems in tractors, harvesters, and other farm machinery.
- Conduct thorough testing of repaired equipment to ensure full functionality and safety compliance.
- Maintain accurate service records, including work orders, parts usage, and labor time.
- Provide technical guidance and training to farm operators on proper equipment usage and basic maintenance.
- Order and manage inventory of spare parts and tools required for repairs.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company standards while performing maintenance tasks.
- Collaborate with the service team to prioritize and schedule repair work efficiently.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a mechanic, preferably with agricultural or heavy machinery (John Deere experience is a plus).
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical components in farm equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic tools.
- Proven problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach to mechanical repairs.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy parts and work in various environmental conditions.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to operate agricultural machinery for testing purposes.
- Basic computer skills for service documentation and parts ordering.
- Excellent communication skills in English and/or Indonesian.
