Responsibility
- Perform routine inspections and diagnostic tests on John Deere agricultural equipment to identify mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical issues.
- Conduct preventive maintenance, including oil changes, filter replacements, and lubrication, to extend equipment lifespan.
- Repair or replace faulty components such as engines, transmissions, hydraulic systems, and electrical circuits.
- Use specialized tools and software (e.g., John Deere Service ADVISOR) to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical problems.
- Maintain accurate service records, including work orders, parts usage, and time spent on each task.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repair and maintenance projects.
- Provide technical guidance to customers on proper equipment operation and basic maintenance practices.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and industry standards to ensure a secure working environment.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years of experience as a mechanic, preferably with John Deere or similar agricultural/heavy machinery.
- Certification in mechanical engineering, diesel technology, or a related field is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems, diesel engines, and electrical circuits in agricultural equipment.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and service manuals for John Deere machinery.
- Ability to read and interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and service bulletins.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy components (up to 50 lbs) and work in various conditions (e.g., outdoor, workshop).
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to client sites in Bali as needed.
