The Philippine Veterans Affairs Office (PVAO) is currently seeking a highly organized and dedicated Administrative Assistant III to join our team in Metro Manila. Responsibility
- Manage daily office operations, including correspondence, filing systems, and document tracking.
- Prepare and process official reports, memoranda, and other administrative communications with accuracy.
- Facilitate scheduling of meetings, appointments, and official events for department heads.
- Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure timely completion of administrative tasks.
- Maintain and update office databases, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
- Handle incoming inquiries via phone, email, and in-person, providing professional assistance to veterans and the public.
- Assist in the procurement of office supplies and monitoring of inventory levels.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field.
- At least 1-2 years of relevant work experience in administrative support, preferably within a government setting.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Filipino.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage tight deadlines.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Knowledge of government administrative protocols and record-keeping standards is highly desirable.
