The Municipal Government of Santo Tomas, Batangas is currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Administrative Aide VI (Electrician II) to join our team in the Ilocos Region. In this multifaceted role, you will play a critical part in maintaining the electrical infrastructure of our municipal facilities, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance with national standards.
As an Administrative Aide VI, you will bridge the gap between technical electrical maintenance and administrative support. Responsibility
- Perform regular inspection, installation, and repair of electrical systems and wiring in government buildings and public facilities.
- Maintain detailed logs of electrical maintenance, repairs, and energy consumption across various departments.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues, including circuit breakers, lighting systems, and power distribution units, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Assist in the procurement process for electrical supplies, including inventory monitoring and preparation of purchase requests.
- Coordinate with administrative teams to ensure all maintenance activities are compliant with local building codes and safety regulations.
- Conduct preventive maintenance schedules to extend the lifespan of municipal equipment.
- Prepare technical reports on repair status and recommendations for electrical upgrades.
- Ensure a clean and safe work environment at all project sites.
Qualifications
- Completion of at least two years of studies in college or high school graduate with relevant vocational/trade course.
- Must possess a valid National Certificate (NC II) in Electrical Installation and Maintenance from TESDA.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of professional experience in electrical maintenance or related field.
- Strong knowledge of Philippine Electrical Code and workplace safety standards (OHSAS).
- Ability to interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Excellent organizational and administrative documentation skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with municipal staff and external contractors.
- Physically fit to perform maintenance tasks including climbing, lifting, and working in confined spaces.
