Responsibility
- Design and develop ACMV systems including ductwork, piping, and equipment layouts using AutoCAD, Revit, or BIM software.
- Conduct load calculations, energy modeling, and system simulations to ensure optimal performance and compliance with local and international standards.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and project managers to integrate ACMV solutions into building designs.
- Prepare and review technical drawings, specifications, and tender documents for ACMV projects.
- Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of ACMV systems to ensure adherence to design specifications.
- Perform site inspections and troubleshooting to resolve system inefficiencies or malfunctions.
- Stay updated on industry trends, green technologies, and energy-efficient practices in HVAC engineering.
- Provide technical support and training to clients and internal teams on ACMV system operations and maintenance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in ACMV system design, preferably in commercial or industrial projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, or similar CAD software for HVAC design.
- Strong knowledge of ASHRAE standards, local building codes, and energy efficiency regulations.
- Experience with load calculation tools (e.g., Carrier HAP, Trace 700) and CFD simulations.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team, with strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Certification in HVAC design or LEED/Green Building is a plus.
