Responsibility
- Monitor and supervise the construction and maintenance of roads, bridges, and drainage systems within palm oil plantations.
- Ensure all infrastructure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and local authorities to facilitate smooth project execution.
- Conduct regular inspections and assessments to identify maintenance needs and potential risks.
- Prepare and maintain detailed reports on project progress, challenges, and solutions.
- Assist in the procurement of materials and equipment required for infrastructure projects.
- Implement sustainable practices to minimize environmental impact during construction and maintenance activities.
- Provide technical support and guidance to on-site teams to resolve operational issues.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in infrastructure development, preferably in agricultural or plantation settings.
- Strong knowledge of construction techniques, materials, and safety regulations.
- Proficient in project management tools and software (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Project).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with environmental and sustainability practices in construction.
- Willingness to travel to various project sites as required.
