Responsibility
- Lead the design, development, and validation of high-efficiency power supply systems for industrial and semiconductor applications.
- Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from conceptualization to mass production, ensuring compliance with industry standards (e.g., UL, CE, IEC).
- Collaborate with R&D, manufacturing, and quality assurance teams to optimize power supply performance, cost, and reliability.
- Conduct feasibility studies, simulations, and prototyping to validate design concepts and improve system efficiency.
- Develop and implement testing protocols to ensure product robustness under extreme conditions.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to cross-functional teams.
- Stay abreast of emerging trends in power electronics, including wide-bandgap semiconductors, digital control, and renewable energy integration.
- Prepare and present technical reports, design documentation, and compliance certifications to stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, or a related field; PhD is a plus.
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in power supply design, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven expertise in designing AC-DC, DC-DC converters, SMPS, and high-voltage power systems for industrial or semiconductor applications.
- Proficiency in simulation tools such as LTspice, PLECS, or PSIM, and CAD software (e.g., Altium, OrCAD).
- Strong knowledge of EMC/EMI compliance, thermal management, and PCB layout optimization.
- Experience with digital control (DSP, FPGA) and firmware development for power electronics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex power system issues.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
