Responsibility
- Lead, mentor, and develop the Accounts Receivable team to ensure high performance and adherence to company policies.
- Oversee daily AR operations, including invoice generation, payment processing, and cash application.
- Monitor and manage aging reports, proactively addressing overdue accounts with strategic follow-ups.
- Ensure billing accuracy by reconciling accounts, resolving discrepancies, and collaborating with sales and customer service teams.
- Implement and refine collection strategies to minimize DSO (Days Sales Outstanding) and improve cash flow.
- Prepare and present monthly AR reports, including KPIs, trends, and recommendations for process improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve customer disputes and ensure timely payment resolutions.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and leverage technology to automate and enhance AR processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration; CPA or relevant certification is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Accounts Receivable, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of managing AR teams, improving collection rates, and reducing aging receivables.
- Strong proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables).
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills to handle customer and internal stakeholder interactions.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret financial data and generate actionable insights.
- High attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
- Experience in the beauty, retail, or FMCG industry is highly advantageous.
