Responsibility
- Process and manage incoming payments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Monitor and reconcile accounts receivable ledgers to maintain up-to-date records.
- Follow up on overdue accounts through phone calls, emails, and written notices.
- Prepare and send invoices, statements, and payment reminders to clients.
- Collaborate with the sales and customer service teams to resolve billing discrepancies.
- Generate and analyze aging reports to identify and address delinquent accounts.
- Maintain organized and confidential financial records in compliance with company policies.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes, including reporting and audits.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts receivable or a similar role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients and internal teams.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Experience in a multinational or retail environment is a plus.
