Responsibility
- Process and verify incoming payments from customers, ensuring accuracy and timely posting to the general ledger.
- Reconcile accounts receivable ledgers to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly allocated.
- Generate and send invoices to clients in a timely manner, following up on overdue accounts as needed.
- Monitor aging reports and proactively contact customers to resolve discrepancies or delays in payment.
- Collaborate with the sales and customer service teams to address billing inquiries and resolve payment issues.
- Prepare and present regular reports on accounts receivable status, cash flow, and collections performance.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all financial transactions related to receivables.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A professional certification (e.g., CPA) is a plus.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts receivable, general accounting, or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, particularly in AR processes.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar) and Microsoft Excel (advanced skills preferred).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
- Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving discrepancies.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Indonesian is a strong advantage.
