Responsibility
- Process and verify invoices, expense reports, and payment requests in a timely and accurate manner.
- Reconcile accounts payable transactions and ensure all payments are processed correctly.
- Maintain and update vendor records, including contact information and payment terms.
- Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Monitor accounts payable aging reports and follow up on outstanding invoices.
- Collaborate with internal departments to resolve discrepancies and ensure proper documentation.
- Generate financial reports related to accounts payable for management review.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes, including accruals and reconciliations.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable or a similar accounting role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Xero) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks with tight deadlines.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with vendors and internal teams.
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
