Responsibility
- Prepare and consolidate financial reports for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP and PEZA requirements.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost optimization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial information and ensure timely reporting.
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded.
- Support the budgeting and forecasting processes by providing financial insights and data analysis.
- Assist in audits by preparing necessary documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist in the preparation of tax filings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in general accounting or financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions preferred).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Certification such as CPA or equivalent is a plus.
