Responsibility
- Manage day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with line managers and department heads to develop and monitor budgets, providing insights to optimize financial performance.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll, taxes, and other financial obligations.
- Conduct internal audits and implement financial controls to mitigate risks and safeguard organizational assets.
- Assist in the preparation of financial forecasts and strategic planning initiatives.
- Liaise with external auditors, banks, and other financial institutions to facilitate smooth financial operations.
- Support grant management and donor reporting, ensuring transparency and accountability in fund utilization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA) are a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in finance or accounting roles, preferably in a non-profit or corporate setting.
- Strong proficiency in financial software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Knowledge of local tax regulations, financial reporting standards, and compliance requirements.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
