Responsibility

  • Verify and process invoices, expense reports, and payment requests for accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Maintain and organize all accounts payable records, including vendor files, receipts, and financial documents in both digital and physical formats.
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner to ensure smooth vendor relationships.
  • Prepare and execute weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly payment runs, ensuring all payments are processed accurately and on schedule.
  • Monitor and manage cash equivalents, including petty cash and bank reconciliations, to safeguard company assets.
  • Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., Procurement, Operations) to address payment-related inquiries and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes, including accruals, prepayments, and financial reporting.
  • Stay updated on local tax regulations and compliance requirements to ensure all financial transactions adhere to legal standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable, finance, or a similar role, preferably in hospitality or a fast-paced industry.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, data validation).
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in high-volume transaction environments.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with vendors and internal stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of Indonesian tax regulations and financial compliance is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently, adapt to changing priorities, and thrive in a collaborative team environment.
