Responsibility
- Process and verify vendor invoices for accuracy and completeness before payment.
- Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Prepare and process weekly/monthly payment runs, ensuring timely disbursements.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all accounts payable transactions.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure proper approval and documentation for payments.
- Monitor vendor accounts and address any payment-related inquiries or issues.
- Assist in month-end closing activities, including accruals and financial reporting.
- Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Accounts Payable or a similar role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large volumes of data.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Knowledge of local tax regulations and compliance requirements is a plus.
