Responsibility

  • Process and verify financial transactions, including invoices, receipts, and payments, with high accuracy.
  • Maintain and update accounting records, ledgers, and journals in compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Reconcile bank statements and ensure all discrepancies are resolved promptly.
  • Handle petty cash transactions and manage expense reimbursements for staff.
  • Support the accounting team in payroll processing and tax-related documentation.
  • Liaise with vendors, clients, and internal departments to clarify financial queries and resolve issues.
  • Organize and archive financial documents, ensuring easy retrieval and audit readiness.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (1-2 years) in accounting, bookkeeping, or a similar clerical role.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
  • Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal) with a professional demeanor.
  • Ability to work independently, multitask, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of integrity, responsibility, and confidentiality in handling sensitive financial data.
