Responsibility
- Process and reconcile Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for trust accounts.
- Maintain and update general ledger entries in compliance with GAAP and internal policies.
- Conduct bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Support the trust administration team with client billing, disbursements, and reporting.
- Ensure all financial transactions are properly documented and filed for audit purposes.
- Collaborate with senior accountants to analyze financial data and identify trends or anomalies.
- Assist in tax compliance and regulatory reporting for trust entities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (fresh graduates are encouraged to apply).
- Basic understanding of accounting principles (AP/AR, GAAP); training will be provided.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
- Ability to work independently and in a team under tight deadlines.
- Prior internship or entry-level experience in accounting or finance is a plus.
