Responsibility
- Process and verify supplier invoices for accuracy, ensuring compliance with company policies and tax regulations.
- Manage and reconcile vendor accounts, resolving discrepancies promptly to maintain strong business relationships.
- Prepare and execute timely payments to vendors via various methods (e.g., bank transfers, checks) while adhering to payment terms.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all AP transactions, including invoices, payments, and correspondence.
- Collaborate with internal departments to validate purchase orders, receipts, and approvals before processing payments.
- Generate and distribute financial reports related to accounts payable, including aging reports and payment summaries.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring all AP-related activities are completed on schedule.
- Identify opportunities to streamline AP processes, improve efficiency, and reduce costs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., CPA) is a plus.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Accounts Payable or a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel (advanced skills preferred).
- Strong understanding of AP processes, tax regulations, and financial compliance in Indonesia or the Philippines.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks with tight deadlines.
- Superb communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with vendors, internal teams, and management.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a problem-solving mindset.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Indonesian (Bahasa) is a plus.
