Responsibility
- Process and verify new account applications in accordance with company and regulatory guidelines.
- Conduct thorough KYC (Know Your Customer) checks and due diligence for all account openings.
- Liaise with clients to gather required documentation and clarify application details.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all account openings in the company database.
- Collaborate with compliance and legal teams to ensure adherence to anti-money laundering (AML) policies.
- Resolve client inquiries and issues related to account opening in a timely and professional manner.
- Identify opportunities to improve the account opening process and recommend efficiency enhancements.
- Prepare and submit regular reports on account opening activities and performance metrics.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in account opening, client onboarding, or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of KYC, AML, and other regulatory compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English (written and spoken).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with CRM or account management software.
- High attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Customer-focused mindset with a problem-solving approach.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
