Responsibility

  • Process and verify new account applications in accordance with company and regulatory guidelines.
  • Conduct thorough KYC (Know Your Customer) checks and due diligence for all account openings.
  • Liaise with clients to gather required documentation and clarify application details.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all account openings in the company database.
  • Collaborate with compliance and legal teams to ensure adherence to anti-money laundering (AML) policies.
  • Resolve client inquiries and issues related to account opening in a timely and professional manner.
  • Identify opportunities to improve the account opening process and recommend efficiency enhancements.
  • Prepare and submit regular reports on account opening activities and performance metrics.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in account opening, client onboarding, or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of KYC, AML, and other regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English (written and spoken).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with CRM or account management software.
  • High attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a problem-solving approach.
