Responsibility
- Assist the accounting team with daily financial transactions, including data entry, invoicing, and expense tracking.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Prepare and reconcile bank statements, ledgers, and other financial documents.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements, budgets, and forecasts under supervision.
- Help maintain organized and up-to-date financial records in compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and verify financial data for reporting purposes.
- Assist in audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations for financial transactions.
- Perform ad-hoc administrative tasks and projects as assigned by the accounting manager.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with numerical data accurately.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills in English (written and verbal) to collaborate effectively with team members.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information with integrity.
