Responsibility
- Prepare and maintain full sets of accounts, including general ledger, journal entries, and financial statements in compliance with GAAP and local regulations.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing of invoices, payments, and reconciliations.
- Coordinate import and export logistics, including documentation, customs clearance, and liaison with freight forwarders and suppliers.
- Conduct monthly and yearly financial closings, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Monitor inventory and cost control for logistics operations, identifying areas for efficiency improvements.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including VAT, withholding taxes, and corporate tax filings.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial and operational workflows.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is a plus.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in full-set accounting, preferably in a multinational or logistics-focused environment.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP) and ERP systems.
- Strong understanding of import/export regulations, customs procedures, and incoterms.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal); knowledge of Indonesian (Bahasa) is advantageous.
- Ability to work independently, meet tight deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
- Experience in audit support, tax compliance, and financial reporting is highly desirable.
